Our board Chairman, Dr. Surowitz is an active volunteer and founding member of MyClinic having joined the Board in June 2012. Dr. Ron Surowitz has been practicing preventive medicine in Jupiter since 1983. He is a principal investigator for clinical trials, has been politically active in the Osteopathic profession and has been involved in charitable medical care throughout his career.

Dr. Surowitz believes in and lives his life by the philosophy that “to whom much is given, much will be required”. And it’s this belief that inspired him to spend more than 25 years providing medical care to those in need.

He began his philanthropic care in Mexico, where he provided medical services to children in an orphanage and then, he brought his charitable work home to Florida where he spent seven days a week caring for migrant workers and their families in Pahokee. Dr. Surowitz and his wife Diane reside in Jupiter where they raised their two sons and are grandparents to five grandchildren.
